BPUT enters into virtualisation agreement with Canon Dalian

To launch its integrated datacentre virtualisation offerings

Beijing PowerUnique Technology(BPUT), a wholly-owned subsidiary of China VoIP & Digital Telecom, has entered into a virtualisation agreement with Canon Dalian Business Machines (Canon Dalian) in Liaoning province to launch its integrated datacentre virtualisation offering.

Through this initiative BPUT will provide Cannon Dalian with its datacentre offering technologies, which enables the customer reduce investment and operating expenses.

The company said that it will also help Canon Dalian enhances its datacenter security and reduce the required number of servers.

Canon Dalian also selected BPUT to provide after-sale services during its virtualisation system operations. This service contract is expected to yield stable and long-term recurring revenue to BPUT.

Kunwu Li, president and CEO of China VoIP & Digital Telecom, said: "We designed the integrated virtualisation datacentre solution based on Canon Dalian's current and future needs. We are pleased to see our solution is proving to be profitable and useful to Canon Dalian.

"This is our first customer from China's northeast region and we are very glad to see the SI alliance program in this area has become effective so quickly."
