CBR Staff Writer Published 23 August 2010

Offers hosted environment complete with server and desktop software

World Software, a provider of document management systems (DMS), has launched Worldox CompleteCloud, a secure virtual data centre for law firms.

The company said that new CompleteCloud, which is developed in association with cloud provider CoreBanc, offers a hosted environment complete with server and desktop software.

Worldpx CompleteCloud features GX2 DMS; Windows 7 virtual desktop; Microsoft Office Professional 2010; Microsoft Exchange with SPAM filtering; managed virtual servers; and client/server licenses, patch management, backups, redundancy, and upstages.

Integration of applications like time and billing and practice management to create a complete legal office bundle will now be possible with using the application.

World Software president Ray Zwiefelhofer said that Worldox has always been associated with efficiency and quality, but it has been a client/server product and is being used in a virtual environment, either through the company's partner companies, or from their own IT departments' efforts.
